I like to stick with a stable build until there’s something truly interesting in a new beta that’s worth trying out early. That way, I can decide if I want to hop into subsequent betas for the next minor updates Apple is working on. Though it’s typically not an issue, I like to remove my beta profiles before I upgrade to the final release of an operating system. What if I’m already using the macOS Big Sur beta? After that, click on “Update Now” to launch the process. Make sure you’ve checked the “Automatically keep my Mac up to date” box if you want to do just that in the future.
